When the Search Ends, Ours Begins.
Project Lost & Found is an initiative of Atticus & Finch dedicated to providing accessible, professional support to families of missing persons across Canada and the United States. We believe that every family deserves continued access to expertise, resources, and guidance—even after traditional search efforts have concluded.
By combining investigative analysis, search planning, community engagement, and specialized operational support, our team helps families navigate the complex challenges of long-term missing persons cases. Whether through case assessments, grassroots search guidance, or on-site assistance for select cases, our goal is to provide practical support, identify new opportunities for investigation, and help families continue the search for answers with confidence and compassion.

Frequently Asked Questions
Through the generous support of our partners, we are able to subsidize all costs associated with Project Lost & Found for participating families. The only cost is the initial application fee of $500 CAD. This fee helps us further grow and expand the initiative without further financial burdens on families or relying on government funding.
All participating families are able to gain access to personalized support immediately after an application is submitted, to assist in locating their loved ones. While level of support may vary case to case based on differing circumstances, the average family receives a minimum of $15,000 - 20,000 CAD of specialized support and resources. Some cases may received upwards of $150,000-200,000 CAD of support if a in-person search is approved.
